Bain Capital’s Tech Opportunities Fund led a $145 million growth investment in BioCatch Ltd., a cybersecurity company that uses artificial intelligence to help verify the identity of online users to prevent fraud.
BioCatch’s technology measures behavioral biometrics, such as left- or right-handedness, hand pressure and other patterns, to help ensure that online customers are who they say are.
